Mi goreng mamak + milo ais

This mamak's stall is at the simpang menuju to Taman Lestari Putra. The stall operates a few days only in a week from 8pm to 3am. Why I said a few days only? We (me n muk) have to call him first before going to make sure the stall is open for that day because he doesn't have specific cuti time. Suka2 hati je. That is not a good attitude for business :P But since he makes superlicious mi goreng (which I really love) so I guess the attitude can be put aside, just have to deal with it la... :P

- mi goreng (sesuai for vegetarian sbb takde ayam/daging involved...tp vegetarian boleh mkn telur ke?)
- nasi lemak (kalo tekak melayu toksah amek...sbb tk mcm nasi lemak melayu :P) + ayam berempah

Makanan2 mamak yg lain mcm nasi goreng, etc ada je jual, just ask :)

His milo ais is once the best! Sgt pekat ok.. Until recently kureng sket...tp dia ni satu la masalah...suka tk constant...kejap best...kejap kurang best but still acceptable la. Same with his mi goreng.

Tips!
1) When u make an order (for mi goreng) pls make sure u state "sambal lebih"
2)I don't know how u want to tell them (he runs the business with his wife) but make sure the mamak yg masak and not his wife (kureng sket kalo isteri dia yg masak...sorry to say)

Harga?
Affordable la kot :) Tp rasanya boleh kurang lg sbb dia bukak stall and not kedai. And maybe if he change the attitude of bukak sesuka hati boleh menarik lg ramai pelanggan so he won't need to use the excuse "harga brg naik" to raise the price :P

Overall? (for me)

If u are looking for a quality mi goreng mamak, u should give them a try
Tp if u are a kind of fussy customer, nak tmpt selesa, takde nyamuk, terang benderang, presentable mcm kt restaurant...over mi yg sedap ni...then forget about it :P

Mc Donald's Grilled Chicken Foldover

This entry is specially dedicated to Muk, one of among hundreds, maybe thousands, who felt dissappointed when Mcd stopped their famous grilled chicken foldover....hurmm.

Truthfully, I'm not a big fan of grilled chicken foldover, sbb saya tk suka bawang, dan ada byk bawang kt chicken foldover tu :P What made Muk really crazy about this food?

1. Ada 2 patties inside, so it suited muk's big appetite :P
2. Because the patties is grilled, and wrap with pita bread and filled with salad and bawangs which can be considered healthy food (according to muk).
3. Byk bawang! (which i hate but muk loved it :P)
4. Worth for money of course :) Unlike their Double Prosperity Burger...mahal nk mapos sampai RM14++ (daging 2pcs gak)
4. Lain2 reason: the sauce is delicious according to this blog I found on the internet while searching for the photo of gcf (short for grilled chicken foldover...ponek la nk taip panjang sgt). She's also dissappointed gcf no longer available.

To Mc Donald's management, if u ever crossing this blog and reading this, pls consider making them again. Muk kata dulu dia ada solid reason to go to McD always but after they stopped gcf, muk muka boring je everytime I said jom pegi mcd :P

I on the other hand, sgt2 la suka ayam goreng mcd spicy :P (sebbaik derang tk stop ni jugak...kalo tk saya mogok buat sepanduk soh buat blk hahahhaha)

Nasi Goreng Tomyam

Nasi goreng tomyam yang bagi saya sedap ni dijual di Maria Tomyam/Seafood corner. Kat mana? Berdekatan dgn rumah saya kat flat Mawar Jaya, Bandar Putra Permai ataupon nama glemer Equine. Tempat ni mmg jadi tmpt lepak saya malam2 bila lapar dan malas nak masak heheh.

Apa yang special kat sini?

Firstly, harganya superbly murah (saya seorang yang mementingkan harga murah dan makanan yg sedap hahahah :P). Saya dan muk selalu order;

- nasi goreng tomyam
- nasi goreng ayam
- telur dadar (satu piring)
- milo ais
- teh ais
Harga: RM9++ only!

Best tak?

2ndly, of course sbb sedap dan nasinya byk (tapi ada time la...sometime biasa2 je)...so memang puas hati la. Also they like to put daun salad sebagai hiasan+mkn so memang nmpk menarik dan very yummy!

Tips!
Bila order tu, sila mintak sambal belacan dan sup kosong utk lebih umpphh!, they give them for free ;)

Selain nasi goreng tomyam, of course ada byk lagi nasi goreng lain tp saya highlight yg ni jela sbb saya suka heheh. Really a must try! Selain goreng2, they also got tomyam, kalo yg nk order lauk pon ada at very reasonable price.

Kedai ni cuma buka from petang till 2am.

Secret Recipe

Everytime I feel like want to eat cheese cake, I will go to this place. Secret Recipe is a proud product of Malaysia (according to me :P), and a lifestyle cafe chain according to their website. They have many outlets in Malaysia and also internationally but my favourite is at Alamanda Putrajaya, sebab dekat heheh plus the layanan is superb cuma my last visit I was a bit dissappointed, mungkin time tu tgh lunch hour so mereka jadi tk tentu arah sket.

For rich people, they can consider the price of food here cheap, while for me...an intermediate-class citizen, I will only go here during celebrating something, or when after got my paycheck :P or when mukriz is rich at 28th of every month :)

Ok, let see the cheese cakes here. In the website they listed 12 types of cheese cakes.

But my personal favourite is chocolate cheese. Sebab apa? Sebab saya suka chocolate dan saya suka cheese! So combination ni mmg la sgt menarik hati saya :) Harga for a slice is RM6.90 (whole cake is RM75-79) which I think is very reasonable and worth the money because this cheesecake is super delicious. Lagipon mana nk dpt cheesecake murah dik oiii...even kalo kat bakery lain lg murah harganya cheese nya tk byk...dan rasanya belum tentu mcm kat sini...

Tapi yg saya perasan ramai yg suka orea cheese yg bagi saya tipikal, everything that comes with oreo mesti ramai suka :P contoh lain oreo mcflurry :P Tapi itu hak masing2, terpulang la nk suka yg mana :)

They also have other type of cakes, such as chocolate cakes, cream cakes, health cakes, brownies and latest 3D cakes. For those who love to maintain their health, takut gemuk ke, health cakes is my recommendation :) For cream cakes they got the famous tiramisu which i don't really fancy because it's coffee-taste...tp i mkn je kalo org blanje :P For list of cakes u can go here

Here at Secret recipe they don't only sell cakes but also serve fusion food. I don't know why they don't put their food selection in the website so I'll just explain in general jela. My favourites is chicken cordon bleu, chicken lasagna (they oso got beef) and curry laksa mee. They also got tomyam mee (i don't know the exact name) which is chef recommendation if i'm not mistaken, lamb chop, chicken grilled with/out rice, fish fillet, steak burger, spaghetti, etc. About the fusion food serve here maybe I will do another entry later if i got time :)

The beverages just like other places, got ice blended, ice lemon tea, bla bla bla.

The place? They have nice and simple interior (tatau camne nk explain) and I love hanging out here, org tk ramai/kalo ramai pon berhemah :) Tak bising. If u want super privacy than avoid going during peek time like lunch and dinner hours.

Opening

This blog is dedicated to my love for food :) The content in this blog, is my personal preference, my honest point of view, my likes and dislikes, and not linked/associated even involved with any of the restaurants/cafes/warungs that I write about. One more thing, I'm not only writing about malaysian food, but others also.

Don't expect me to write a kind of formal review here. Like i said, this is only my point of view, so i will write in any ways i like. Could be in english, or Bahasa Melayu, or even manglish, or bahasa pasar :)

Actually I want to write about mc******* for my first entry. sebab itulah yg paling saya suka sepanjang saya hidup...Org akan kata, apala mkn fast food...bla..bla..bla. Setiap org ada pendapat masing2, ada hak masing2...esp me...here, in this blog. Sukati saya la kan saya nak tulis pasal makanan yg saya suka walaupun mungkin makanan tu tak berapa sihat diamalkan :)

Tapi I'm not going to write about mc******* for my first entry. I want to write about an establish Malaysian chain-cafe, whom I love going there everytime my pocket's full...hehehehehe...
